When?

Our second Kickstart Program for 2024 will run from Monday 11th of March for 28 days. It’s important that you are available for body scans at our Stepney Studio the week before these dates.

Where & How?

Our Kickstart Program is run predominantly online. Your ‘before’ and ‘after’ scans will be held at our Stepney health studio and so will our Nutrition Seminar. Apart from this, you are able to access our app & information from anywhere, and continue on with your usual gym membership (if you have one). If you need additional access to our coaches, you can book an appointment at our studio or organise a Zoom call.

PERSONALISED CALORIE & MACRO TARGETS

We create individualised calorie and macro targets that are based around your goals and lifestyle. Or, for those of you who would prefer not to track, we convert these into hand portions and use a photo journal as well. We also provide you with numerous resources that teach you all the tips and tricks with tracking to help you seamlessly integrate it into your everyday life.

We understand that the most important part for a lot of people is to have someone hold them accountable to their goals, and to support them throughout the process. As such, we have a weekly check-in process. Each week you’ll fill-in an online check-in that goes straight to your coach (privately) to tell us about your week. Your coach will then send you detailed feedback, providing you with real-life and immediately implementable solutions to your problems.

SETUP & ONBOARDING


Fill-in your details and process the payment using the sign up now button below. You’ll then immediately be given access to our app and all of our resources so you can prep ahead of time. You’ll be asked to complete an Onboarding Form so our coaches can get to know you and your goals in more detail.

BOOK-IN & GET STARTED


Once you’re set up in the app you’ll be able to book your first body scan (held on March 2nd & 3rd). Your coach will also be in touch to provide you with your Individualised Nutrition Guide along with your macro and calorie targets. You’ll also have access to the rest of our resources to start to learn more about the way we can coach, and how it can improve your health.

STAY ACCOUNTABLE


Over the course of the next 4 weeks you’ll be able to check-in regularly with your individual coach via our app, and be kept motivated and engaged through out Kickstart community forum. You’ll submit your Weekly Check-Ins, and your coach will provide you individualised detailed feedback to help you with the next upcoming week. At the end of the 4 weeks you’ll have a follow-up body scan to measure your results & create a game plan moving forwards.

Right on your dashboard you’ll be able to see the nutrition targets that your coach has allocated you. Depending on your goals and preferences, this may include targets for all the macros — or your coach might decide to have you focus purely on calories and protein to begin with.

All of this portion of your dashboard is customised by your coach to match your lifestyle.

Alternatively, we also provide you with the option to track with a photo food journal instead.


DETAILED CHECK-INS & DATA SYNCING

Each week you’ll be prompted to complete your check-in form via the app. This includes detailed questions about your nutrition, habits, photos and more. PLUS, our app integrates with a range of software such as MyFitnessPal and Apple Health to automatically sync your data across - saving you time and improving our ability to coach you.

You’ll receive detailed feedback for each of your check-ins from your coach. Plus, you can easily see and track all of the progress you’ve made right within the app.

WEEK 0

WEEK 1

Week 1 includes a live nutrition seminar covering all things energy balance and what exactly a calorie is.

Week 2 we deep dive into protein including what it is, what food it’s in, and how to make sure you’re eating enough

WEEK 2

WEEK 3

Week 3 we explore carbs & fats. We look at whether there is such a thing as ‘good’ and ‘bad’ of each.

WEEK 4

Our final week looks at micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and focuses on improving diet quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • SABA is a private studio located in Stepney, SA that operates as a body scan location alongside nutrition coaching. We are not a gym, and we do not offer any gym facilities. As such, our Kickstart Program operates predominantly online - allowing you to stay at your current gym (if you have one) and utilise our services remotely.

    Our aim is to fill the gap in the health & fitness sector by making quality nutrition coaching both affordable and accessible.

  • The ‘first’ body scans will be held at our Stepney studio between March 1st and March 4th. These scans will be 30 minutes long and in a 1-on-1 format with your coach to provide you an opportunity to introduce yourself and ask questions.

  • Each week you will submit answers to a questionnaire in our App about your week. This is known as your ‘weekly check-in form’. Each week on an allocated day, your coach will read your answers and have a look at your nutrition for the week (either through your MyFitnessPal or photo journal) and they will write you detailed responses to help guide you for the upcoming week. You will also have the ability to message them through the app if you need additional help.

  • If you don’t submit your weekly check-in then your coach won’t be able to give you personalised feedback. They will, however, send you a message to check that you’re doing okay and find out why you didn’t submit your check-in with them.

  • Tracking your calories/macros is the fastest way for us to get you results. However, it’s not the only way. We believe that in order for a program to be truly sustainable it has to work for you. As such, if you don’t want to log your food into MyFitnessPal, we will have options for you to take photos of your meals instead and still receive feedback from your coach. We also provide you with other ways of ‘tracking without tracking’ such as hand portions and using a plate method. Your coach will work with you to help you decide what works best for you.

  • We have a team of University-qualified nutritionists with over 15 years experience in the field between them. Whilst you’ll be allocated an individual coach at the start, all of our team will be involved in helping you succeed.
